4TH MINI VACATION-- GRAND CANYON

This week we went to the Grand Canyon. The kids weren't to happy about hiking in the sun and heat again, but being together was still fun. It was quite hot and dry. As usual the boys were not very cooperative about taking pictures. If only I could convince them that if they would smile and cooperate for a few seconds we would be done instead of taking tons of pictures and not getting one that everyone is looking and smiling.

There are some beautiful sites here. It was a little hazy (they said from the fire up by Bryce), but it was still beautiful and a long ways down. And as usual my boys try to scare me to death.

On our way home these Bison were just standing on the road. We waited there for about 20 minutes while they crossed and recrossed. They for sure were not scared of any cars. It was fun to watch them. It was like being in the old west in the pioneer days.
