Jessica is #3 going up for a layup

The girls basketball team went to Valley for the annual Buffalo Shootout tournament on Friday and Saturday. It was so exciting. They played Green River on Friday and won. But the best was on Saturday. Kanab VS Valley in the Championship game. The first half of the game was really frusterating. Jessica had 2 fouls within the first 2 minutes of the game so she sat on the bench for a while. Within the first quarter of the game 4 out of the 5 starters each had 2 fouls and were sitting on the bench while Valley had only 2 fouls for their whole team. Interesting. Usually the fouls are fairly even. At half time our team was down 13 to 18. When our girls came out of the locker room for the second half of the game they were on fire. In the third quarter we scored 15 points to their 0 points. So after the third quarter the score was 28 to 18 for Kanab. Valley came back some in the fourth quarter but not enough Kanab won. I can't remember the score but it was 40 something to 30 something. Plus the referees were alittle more consistant in calling both ways during the second half so it made the came much more pleasant to watch.
